Corporate and regulatory disclosures
The purpose of disclosure is to provide increased transparency for market participants with the goal of disclosing information in addition to the annual report, primarily about capital adequacy and the risks that have been incurred. The basis for disclosure is EU Regulation No. 575/2013 Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and former Bremer Landesbank was bound by the disclosure obligation under this regulation for the first time as at 31 December 2014.
According to the guidelines of the European Banking Authority (EBA), banks with total assets in excess of € 30 billion are obliged to publish a half-yearly disclosure report. In the course of the reduction in former Bremer Landesbank total assets former Bremer Landesbank has fallen below this threshold. In accordance with the EBA Guidelines EBA/GL/2014/14, former Bremer Landesbank will refrain from publishing a disclosure report as at 30 June 2016. Since then the disclosure report of the NORD/LB Group covers former Bremer Landesbank as it was a significant investment in the Group. You will find this document here.
